Special Activated Carbon – Pellet – 800ml

With the Special Active Filter Carbon Pellets you contribute significantly to a healthy aquarium. Medication residues after cures or other environmental toxins have an enormous impact on the health of your pets and should be removed from the water regularly  and promptly. Likewise, odors, pesticides, but also other toxins can be safely bound and removed.

Meticulous water hygiene is a must when caring for and keeping animals in an aquarium. This includes regular water changes, but also the filter media should be well maintained. With our pelletized activated carbon you support the biological balance in the aquarium, in which your pets will feel well and stay healthy.

Put the special activated carbon pellets in a filter media bag or net, like we carry in our store, and then place it in the aquarium filter. Also, measure your water values regularly with a suitable test. Every 6 weeks the activated carbon should be changed and replaced. Before first use, cold rinse the pellets to remove abrasion caused by transport.
