Surface extractor for freshwater and marine aquariums

• Removal of deposits and foreign bodies on the water surface: supplement to external filter – extractor for aquariums from 60 – 600 liters (from 35 cm height)

Elimination of Kahmhaut 
Infrequent water changes and overfeeding can lead to a biofilm (Kahmhaut) on the water surface of aquariums, as a normal intake pipe from the external filter does not include the water surface in the filter circuit. The Kahmhaut is a whitish layer of bacteria and fungi. This prevents the maximum oxygenation of the water. 

Surface and deep water intake 
The JBL surface extractor effectively eliminates or prevents the formation of a kahmhaut in advance. Due to the deep water intake, the extractor can be used as a replacement for the previous intake tube. The suction comb automatically adapts to changing water surface (e.g. evaporated water). 

Easy installation 
Connect the JBL surface suction device to the external filter instead of the previous suction pipe. Fix the suction chamber with suction holders in the back corner of the aquarium. Use the adjustment rod to select the ratio of surface suction and deep water suction. 

Elegant shape 
The adjustment spindle can be removed from the unit. The JBL surface extractor has an elegant semicircular shape and is suitable for tubing from 9/12 to 16/22 mm in diameter.
