The materials used in the production of the Forest Bonsai tree are completely harmless and do not release any pollutants into the aquarium water that would harm the aquarium inhabitants. A special mixture of resins and wood powder is used for construction and constructed into these small works of art in a secret process.  However, the forest bonsai is also suitable for the artistic design of the terrarium, paludarium or aquaterrarium.

With small perching plants such as , , or also different mosses you can breathe life into the forest bonsai. Green the crowns quite simply in the twinkling of an eye by fixing offshoots in the tops. Combine the forest bonsai, for example, with other small branches or root pieces or different stones and rocks and create a very natural layout. If the tree is glued to a slate plate, it remains under water when placed in the aquarium and does not float up, so it is particularly easy to decorate – cover the slate plate afterwards with substrate or gravel.

We recommend pre-watering the forest bonsai in a bucket of aquarium water before first use. Soaked with water, it can then be used in the aquarium and will not float. However, with a saw or a pair of nippers, it can be adjusted in size or scale to fit the aquarium.

Expert Tip: With the you connect all kinds of aquarium roots. The ugly glue spots can be perfectly and inconspicuously hidden with the included wood powder. Made in Germany, the glue does not pollute the water and has no negative impact on the stock.
