Primitive and whimsical at the same time: this is how the Congo tree on slate appears in the aquarium. The tree, which is just under 20 cm high, can be planted with small perching plants such as and , but also with mosses, to create a great new playground for shrimp and a great eye-catcher. The large surface area of the Congo tree also provides an excellent colonization area for useful microorganisms, which in turn have a positive effect on the water values. But also shrimps nibble down these bacteria with pleasure.
The congo tree is firmly mounted on a slate plate, which can be decorated directly in the aquarium. Cover the plate with some substrate so that the tree appears free-standing. Occasionally, however, this should be lifted and the mulm that has collected underneath removed.
This great little tree is 100% all natural and does not need to be pre-watered. However, a previous washing down before placing in the aquarium to remove transport-related abrasion is advantageous. The wood is absolutely harmless and does not affect the water values.

Expert Tip: With the you connect all kinds of aquarium roots. The ugly glue spots can be perfectly and inconspicuously hidden with the enclosed wood powder. Made in Germany, the glue does not pollute the water and has no negative influence on the stock.
