The ASAP internal filter consists of a modern, energy-saving motor, housed in an elegant casing, and a spacious, transparent container, which is filled with the selected filter sponge. The water flowing through the filter container is filtered both mechanically and – thanks to the bacteria that quickly settle in the sponge – biologically. This keeps the water in the tank clear and pure at all times and safe for the animals inhabiting the tank. For ongoing maintenance of the filter, the filter canister is removed from the unit and replaced with a new canister (standard filter inserts are available, as well as inserts that contain activated carbon to clarify the water or a phosphate binder that prevents algae growth) or the sponge is thoroughly rinsed in water that is drained from the tank for this purpose. For this purpose, it is not necessary to remove the filter from the tank in its entirety, which is extremely convenient and considerably shortens the maintenance of the filter.

The new ASAP internal filters are also excellent for aquaterrariums, as they can be operated even in water as shallow as 5 centimeters. They also efficiently oxygenate the water by intensively agitating the water surface. Three models are available with a capacity of 300, 500 i 700 l/h, designed for operation in aquariums with a volume ranging from several dozen to 250 l. They perform excellently in beginners‘ tanks and also meet the needs of more experienced aquarium enthusiasts.
