ADA – Lily Pipe Outflow P-2 – 13 Mm

The highly attractive ADA Lily Pipe P2 made of high-quality glass takes its name from its shape. This water outlet for the Aqua Design Amano external filter is lily-shaped and, thanks to its enlarged, curved design, ensures an even, gentle flow in the aquascape, which is optimal for the vast majority of aquarium plants. All water layers are evenly mixed, so nutrients for the plants and oxygen for the aquarium animals reach everywhere in the aquarium.

The ADA Lily Pipe P2 is intended for use in open aquariums. It is suitable for aquariums of 45-60 lit ers and a filter flow rate of 10 liters/minute.

The water inlet of the ADA Lily Pipe P2 is located outside the aquarium and is attached to the glass of the aquarium pane at the desired height using the included suction cup. The glass arch of the ADA Lily Pipe P2 is guided over the edge of the aquarium. During the day, the ADA Lily Pipe lies so that the water flows evenly along the water surface into the aquarium. At night, you can adjust the ADA Lily Pipe P2 so that the water splashes into the aquarium – this prevents a lack of oxygen.

To connect the ADA Lily Pipe P2 to the hose of the external filter, it is best to briefly preheat the end of the hose in hot water so that it is softer. All Lily Pipes from ADA are slightly larger than the inner diameter of the hose, so that the connection is later bombproof and above all watertight. So that the hose slips better on the glass connection, you can make the tube of the ADA Lily Pipe more slippery with a little detergent and water.
